We’re delighted to have been nominated as part of a shortlist of 3 agencies for Best Buy Side Agency at The Drum Digital Advertising Awards 2021.
Despite the obvious challenges faced in 2020 with the impact of Covid, we managed to overcome many obstacles and end the year as a stronger organisation.
Our Paid Media department (Buy Side) was impacted more significantly than any other team, due to clients reducing media spend at the start of the pandemic. Despite this, we managed to retain most of our clients, as well as successfully win new business across PPC, Display and Paid Social.
We retained all staff members, and learnt how to collaborate more effectively with one another and with our clients. Many of our clients faced unique challenges and we were able to create bespoke solutions to help solve this.
We have also achieved significant growth as a paid media team over the last 24 months, expanding from just 1 to 7 specialists, and growing our portfolio of international clients.
Semetrical have nurtured our talented team, leading to numerous internal promotions, too. This has been anchored in our new training program where we aspire to help our staff actively progress their personal development and realise their career ambitions.
We have everything crossed for the awards ceremony!
